Cattolica Aquarium

Cattolica is home to the largest aquarium on the Adriatic coast and the second largest in Italy. It is located in an exhibition space with tanks and display cases housing 3,000 specimens of over 400 different species, and a large outdoor green area.

Visiting the Cattolica Aquarium means coming face to face with animals seen in documentaries or perhaps only imagined: sharks, penguins, otters, stingrays, jellyfish, and many others.
